Shanghai est belle,
Shanghai est prête,
Shanghai est mère,
Shanghai est mer.

Shanghai est folle,
Shanghai j'adore,
Shanghai est morte,
Shanghai, ma porte.

In these four canvases is written the same poem in french mixing the way some eastern languages write, from up to down; and some western languages, from left to right. The way of separating the letters draw by itself shapes of abstract buildings, in grey, like the smog of the big city they are based on.
