Objects that do not naturally belong to a certain landscape can transform that landscape into a hostile environment. A hostile environment can reduce people to mere objects. Through the destruction of the self and the transformation of an organic being into an inanimate one, the tense relationship between human intervention and nature is revealed with irony and absurdity in a mountain turned into an amusement park.
